Principal’s Message 2023-24

Greetings, Skyline Families, 

I would like to welcome you to another great school year!  Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high quality learning experiences for your children.  We greatly value your participation and input as we work together to meet the needs of each individual child.  We invite you to participate in the school by volunteering in our classrooms, in the lunchroom, on the playground, or in our community garden.  Please join us this year! 

We truly believe a child’s academic and social success depends upon a plan that involves you, your child, and our school staff working as a team. A critical component of this plan is communication. We will work hard to keep you informed about your child’s progress and other important matters. At the same time, I encourage you to share with us your questions, concerns, and/or ideas.  We will be using Parent Square as our primary means of sharing information.  You can receive messages via your email, or you can download the app and receive text notifications.  There is also an option to select the language that you prefer.   

If you have any questions regarding our academic content, curriculum, or are curious about your child’s current growth data, please reach out to your child’s teacher or to myself.  We will strive to teach your children the academic and social skills that they need to be successful in the path that they choose, while respecting each family’s right to teach your values to your children at home.
